My oh my - Still with My Name is Red ? - I gave up somewhere in the middle where Shekure & black were exchanging love letters and then a goddamn tree starting narrating and i kinda lost it.
One cant help but think of "one thousand years of Solitude" :) My worst 500-600 buck investment EVER
Ive finished 'A prisoner of birth', 'Bill & Dave' (The HP founders biography)and started Eli Goldratt's 'Goal' already
omg omg. herzog! i've been wanting to see encounters. I love his narration especially. delightful accent.
oh, i've just been nailing books left, right and centre the past week! small ones yes, but books nonetheless. sandor marai's embers, after dark and now stardust all got pwned. muhahahaha.
hm.
A: I like the book. Except I can only take in a few pages at a time. Hence the slow progress.
I've stopped reading Jeffrey Archer. Especially after I made the mistake of reading his newest collection of short stories.
Bobo: Yep, his narration is entertaining. He asks a notoriously laconic penguin behaviour researcher if its true that some penguins are homosexuals, and the researcher looks like he'd like to strangle Herzog. You should definitely watch it.
hahahah. it sounds like something Borat/Bruno would do.
Yes, heh. And he disses march of the penguins throughout the movie. There's this very funny and tragic bit with a disoriented penguin in Encounters, though.
a disoriented penguin.
whattaguy.
yeah, he's.. i love the guy because he's sincere about what he does, and his opinions.
and he's just flat-out weird.
Oh, very weird! In the beginning of Encounters he asks why chimpanzees don't take advantage of less intelligent beings like goats and then ride on them into the sunset. This accompanied by a cartoon visual of a chimp straddled on a goat walking towards said sunset!
